There is so much to share along these  ancestry linkages<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the most often comments I receive from individuals wishing to learn more about their ancestors is something like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I don&#8217;t know much or anything about my relatives on my mother&#8217;s (or father&#8217;s) side.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Genealogy research is too time consuming.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I understand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span class=\"uppercase\">Step One<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Build your tree by placing your full name (ladies: Please include your maiden  name and place the married surname in parantheses) on the single line. That information is placed on the <strong>left side of this form<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><a href=\"https:\/\/annwead.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/05\/pedigree-chart.-jpg.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/annwead.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/05\/pedigree-chart.-jpg.jpg?w=512\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"1878\" data-link=\"https:\/\/annwead.wordpress.com\/pedigree-chart-jpg\/\" class=\"wp-image-1878\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next, if you know your parents&#8217; full names, follow the same instructions as above. Be sure to list the full names and that includes all previous marriages (if applicable) on the line <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you do not fully know either or both of your parents, and\/or if you are adopted,  record the information that your know.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next, do the same for your grandparents and great-grandparents.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In all, write what you know.
